Eilera

Eilera Ellie is a 27 year old film director based in London. Born in Lithuania, raised in Ireland, and having lived all over the world, she is preoccupied with unifying human stories across borders and time. As a filmmaker, she is known for appreciating child talent due to their intact yet unique perspectives on the everyday challenges of our current world.

Eilera's most recent short film ‘Breakfast’ fully produced and edited only by herself during lockdown has gathered awards and nominations globally  (Cannes Shorts, London Director Awards, Lift Off).


Previously a project development partner at NKM Media, she was responsible for reviewing scripts for ‘Charlie Rolls’ (Netflix) and 'Limerick' (Lionsgate). Starting in 2017, for the next two years Eilera was the head judge of Jameson International Film Festival where she worked with Dana Brunetti  (Producer - ‘House of Cards’), responsible for selecting finalist scripts out of 8000 international submissions aspiring to be produced in Hollywood.

Until the next film project, Eilera currently works as assistant director on fiction productions (‘Shelter’, ‘Lift’) and as lead commercial videographer in a Mayfair content agency for clients such as Sky, BMW, Anthony Joshua.
